Manual Deodex?

How do I manually deodex a Droid 3? I can get the files deodexed but am unable to use adb shell to install them. I am sure it is a version issue with SDK or SU. I just dont know where to get the updated versions.

If you have superuser installed from the market you can hit menu>settings>su binary, to update su. I don't know why shell wouldn't work though even with an older su.

In adb shell when I enter su it says permission denied.
