Need help. Droid X deodexing

Ok i have rooted my phone manually by using the droid 2 method(SDK). Now have ran the Ultimate x deodexing program with out any issues. This is where i run into trouble. I cannot get SDK to open a emulator to push the new files over from sd card. I keep get "error loading preferences. I am running 32bit Windows XP Pro with SP3 installed. Any help?

If you have problems with the sdk I'm sure you can type up the command in an emulator from the market, of course that's a little more pain

click start, run, type cmd press enter. in the cmd prompt type adb shell. If it says unrecog. cmd, navigate to the directory where you put the sdk files. example cd C:\Android\SDK\Tools then type ADB Shell and it will launch adb.

Im guessing you did the 1-2 click root method with batch files? Make sure you know how to use ADB before you take on rooting, Its a bit of a learning curve, but its worth the time to learn it before risking a $600 plastic paper weight. Hope this helps.
