Managing attendees and events in calendar

I am a brand new Droid Pro user ( joined the mass exodus from BB) and am trying to figure out how to receive calendar invites from others (via outlook and other devices). I am receiving invites from my wife's bb and then preview the attachment. I then revert and it takes me to the entry on my calendar, where I accept the entry. She then receives confirmation. However, when she deletes an entry, it doesn't seem to delete in my calendar. Am I doing this correctly? Seems a little cumbersome...

Check the context menu ... that has the familiar Accept/Reject prompt
