My issue is that I keep seeing warnings on my GS3 that I am running low on internal space, but when I go into a file manager or mount to my laptop to look at the files & folders I can only account for about 15-16GB out of the phones 32GB (which I know will only give me about 29GB total in reality). But I have tried for 2 days now to figure out where the extra 13GB or so have gone and it is driving me crazy!
Also, out of the 16GB or so that I CAN account for, 4Gigs are apparently of thumbnails that reside in a hidden directory inside my DCIM directory which is where the camera data is normally stored. So my other question to you all is "will it cause a major problem if I delete the 4GB hidden directory of thumbnails?" Will they just regenerate? Is there a way to turn off the album art in my music players (because I think those pics are in this hidden directory as well)?
