Lost my "Touch Sounds" as well.
Dial pad touch tone is ticked under System Settings.
And yes, the phone has been rebooted (turned on
and off) several times. I've also wiped the cache
and booted in Safe Mode. I uninstalled all the apps
that were installed around the time of the problem.
And before you ask, yes, the volume is up :) AND,
the dialer tones have worked since upgrading to ICS.
The last thing I want to do is reformat  Can anyone
help?
Thanks

Well Monicakm, I can't say what the cause could be. I know you said the "volume" is up, but did you go to the Volume settings in the phone's settings section and make sure ALL volume settings are turned up? Also, have you installed any "phone" or "dialer" or other phone assistance apps recently?

Yes, all the sounds are up. I have sound every where else (ring tones, games, notifications, etc).
I did download HFT from Google Play. It's a hands free texting app. It didn't work with my Ford Sync
system. I worked with the developer but he could never get it to work like it should even after
rewriting script/code (whatever). I uninstalled the app. Looks like I might need to contact the developer.

With the exception of Notifications, yes. I've got it turned about down a bit.
