Loss of bluetooth connectivity

This has been a problem both with the official nightly Froyo-based builds and now with the Gingerbread-based ones. Sometimes the bluetooth headset that I've paired with my phone won't connect no matter how many times I turn the headset on and off or how many times I turn off and turn back on the bluetooth in the phone. Often the only way to fix it is to unpair the headset and pair it agin. While not a dealbreaker, it's certainly extremely annoying and I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and what can be done to fix it.

None of the froyo based roms played nice with the bluetooth, only one is cm7 gb worked for me.

running cm7 gb its as smooth as butter and bluetooth is functional
