Looking for a problem that will sync my apps

Okay i just started thinking what if i had to take this phone back and get a replacement how will i back up the apps that i installed and bought?

While I haven't tested this personally... I've seen it posted several places including on this forum that the apps are tied to your gmail account. So if you switch to another android device or another Droid you should just be able to login with the same gmail account and re-download your paid apps.
