looking for a ad killer and virus protector.

This is my first droid phone and smart phone. My friends said the other day I need a ad killer and a virus protector. Anyword on anything for the droid 3 yet for this.

I'm pretty sure anti-virus are pointless. And to block ads u need to be rooted and idk if thts been done on d3 yet

I think OP means App killer, not ad killers. App killers are pointless in versions of android 2.2 and above, the droid 3, comes with 2.3.4 and thus one is not needed.

Im talking ad killer. Like when im playing games or on websites and all thes dam ads pop up.

ad killers aren't a waste, but App Killers and Anti-Virus are. Don't waste your time with either of the latter.
