Screen protector

My case just arrived from amazon and I have screen protectors. Is there any need for screen protectors on the droid 3. I heard gorilla glass is scratch proof.

Btw I got a skinomi screen protector, in my opinion is sucks, also cause the proximity sensor to stop working

I picked up a few on amazon.com got (3) for about $4, Amazon.com: Motorola Droid 3 XT862 / Milestone 3 - FOUR (4) Clear Screen Protectors (AccessoryOne Brand): Cell Phones & Accessories they do have a slot for the camera and sensors which is nice.

Gorilla glass is great, but nothing is 100% when it falls.

Well the screen protector has openings for all the sensors plus the camera so I doubt any sensors are gonna be altered, just still wondering if gorilla glass is scratch proof

After watching some guy take his keys to his D1 2 years ago, I pulled the screen protector off my phone and never looked back. I hated how they bubbled up no matter how hard you tried to put them on right. I did somehow get some good scratches on my D1, but never noticed them unless the screen was off. Its all your preference really.
