If you are still rocking the good ole tried and true Galaxy S3... then you are a trooper. You also know that Samsung will not be releasing any official updates to your device. You will from now on have to rely on the development community for any and all updates. No worries developer "arter97" has got you covered with his Android 5.0 Lollipop rom for the Galaxy S3. This rom is not at all stable and is still in the early stages. There is actually a pretty lengthy list of bugs including Radio, Camera, Senors, Internal and External storage, wi-fi, gps, graphics, screen off (device can't enter deep sleep). This should in no way be considered a daily driver, but if you want to see what your device would look like with Lollipop you may still want to give this a try if for nothing more than just to play around.
It should be noted that this rom does require that you also be running the arter97 kernel, and have a working custom recovery installed such as TWRP or Philz recovery. The rom is in nandroid backup form so to install all you have to do is restore the nandroid backup after placing it on your sdcard. Also don't forget to flash the special kernel.
