Liberty 1.5 Known Issues

cant connect to RSD in PC mode or any other mode any ideas?

Reboot to the bootloader and connect it to a pc. One of my computers has this issue. I think you hold the search icon and the up arrow as you are booting. It's not recovery it should be all black with some big white text and say its ready to program or w/e.

I've had it reboot twice today, but I installed over top if previous liberty without wiping. Ran fix permissions for the heck of it, will see if that helps. It restarted once during a call and once at idle.

In the instructions, it highly recommended wiping before installing 1.5. That could be your issue.

Yeah, I'm aware. I don't usually wipe if its the same ROM unless I have problems. I'm going to give it another day and see. When I flashed it this morning I didnt have time to wipe and restore with Ti but I will tomorrow.

Quick question/possible bug... the WatermarkD theme doesn't seem to want to change the dock & icons the way it did in 1.0 and it shows in the screenshot in the toolbox, just stays standard Liberty yellow. Followed the steps for flashing and installing themes to the letter... other themes I've tried work fine... anyone else having this issue?

Can't get the blur alarm to work, I set it then when the time for the alarm comes the screen flashes(I say flash since it doesn't even last a second on) on then no alarm, I never tryed the stock alarm but now I don't know any other way to revert to it other then reflashing the rom. Other then that its bin great

Hum I provided a fix for jrummy to this and am pretty dure he included it.. I will check with him when he is available.

in the mean time download this and install it via recovery manager

question: does the blur alarm auto-arrange the alarms by time like the stock alarm does? i feel like pre-root my alarm didnt do that and it really annoyed me lol

I just loaded UD theme (first theme loaded on 1.5 for me), and my Gmail and GVoice icons are still liberty yellow

Yeah in UD Theme my gmail stayed the same in liberty yellow too, I prefer it though so it's no big deal.

Noticed on the dialer in UD Theme that it's transparent and hard to see if you're sporting a white background. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be or not. Is there a way to adjust the opacity of the dialer/contacts/favorites background?

Hum..... after reading your last post about the blur alarm not working for 1.0 (which I know it did) I decided to test it myself.. and after installing it from the toolbox I can report it is working fine. I am not sure what you are doing wrong to be honest but like I said it does work

liberty tends to slow down my phone or something has any1 had this issues? i overclocked to 1.2 low voltage and my phone tends to lock the phone up and i cant turn it back on so i have to pull battery and yes i also tried not overclocking but it seems to still do it after extended use of my phone even sometimes when its in idle

Anyone noticing some extra pixels on the alarm clock and vibrate icons in the notification bar in the liberty and gb themes? I know for a fact they weren't there when I was running 1.0 this morning. Each install was after a full sbf.

My phone locked up today in the black off screen. Wouldn't come back on, took over five minutes before it would restart. I couldn't battery pull since I was driving and was depending on navigation. This is not the first time I've heard of this problem on Liberty, but it finally happened to me.

It was frustrating enough I almost considered going back to stock when I got home. I can't really convey how frustrating it is when you're depending on gps in unknown territory during rush hour to have your phone fail you. Its just not good.

I'm going to hope it doesn't happen again, but reporting it anyway in hopes there is a fix. I love Liberty far too much to quit on it now.

I installed and have been running liberty 1.5 last night I'm not running into the same problems. Only problem I found was adjusting font size. When I exit after changing font size it defaults back to normal? Other than that love it!
