Wow, what a horrible "oops" that would be.
Sort of on that note I'd love to see a device aimed more towards the outdoorsman with a better stand alone GPS in it. My Note 4 and S5 both really struggled in areas without cell service.

It definitely has GPS I just think it was omitted in that spec sheet
