I have tried several screen protectors and one that stands out in my experience is the Skinomi TechSkin Screen Protectors. It's wet install. Just got one for the LG G4 and so far it's holding up to keys and coins inside my bag. It's far from perfect but it works. If you want protection from scratch and smudge ,then by all means get a screen protector. I have mine.
