LG ALLY recovery help

I have been searching for a very very long time for a way to flash a new recovery image and have been unsuccessful so far. I found one that works via linux but i don't have linux, i have windows.

my question is if there is way to flash the recovery via windows and if i cannot do that, can i flash a kernel without bricking the lg ally?

any help is appreciated

hey is there a way i can recover my mms.apk and mms.odex after i deleted and did not bck itt up?
