I have the LG Ally through Verizon. Since Maryland just passed the hands free law, I went and purchased a BlueAnt S4 Hands Free for my car. I can't get anything to work.

1. BlueAnt says voice commands feature is not supported on this phone

2. Since the LG Ally uses Gmail to build your contact list it is difficult to specify who to call; example, call home - everyone has home

3. I don't like the Google Maps, but it says VZ Navigator isn't supported on this phone.

Try Google Navigation instead of straight maps. Features turn-by-turn.

Voice commands feature? Have you tried turning it on and saying "call home" once it says "speak now"? Assuming you have a contact named "home", that is.

:welcome: to the forum! Let's see if we can get you running.

Did you read the instructions on how to set up the Blue Ant? You need to have the number call you and then you acn give it a designated speed dial number. You can only have 8 speed dials.

Since you are not running 2.2 on your LG Ally you can't use the "contacts" command.

Best bet for contact calling is to do a long touch on the search button and then say call Joe Mobil. Or memorize you 8 speed dial users.
