I've had it work, but then it isn't that hot on the recognition (heard that's an issue if the earpiece isn't aligned just so). To be fair, I haven't programmed the 8 speed dials, but I thought it would work better with Froyo update to support BT dialing. Of course, I haven't updated the Q1 firmware in some time.
Just flash Sapphire 1.0 and couldn't get it to work.
I'm also thoroughly annoyed that they STILL haven't come out with a firmware updater compatible with Win7 64bit.
No problem, you say, just use the Q1 app. well, that hasn't been updated for Froyo!
So I gave up and ordered the Blueant Q2 that will keep up to 2000 contacts in its own memory and voice dial as a stand alone unit.
I downloaded the Froyo and ran the update myself. so far its all very good. The only quirks are the free screen time out toggle app I had would not run so I got another one that did. and the Q1 will voice dial and power down before the caller can answer.
