LG has been using a secondary display to help separate its V series from the rest of their smartphone lineup. It would appear that HTC liked the idea enough to add it to one of their upcoming smartphones. The display of the HTC device also matches the size of the LG V20 at 5.7". It is possible that HTC actually procured the displays from LG. Sources say that the device code named "HTC Ocean Note" will feature a Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and Android 7.0 Nougat. There have also been reports that the Ocean Note will include the camera from the Google Pixel! HTC is expected to launch 3 phones in all at an even on January 12th. We likely won't see the HTC 10 successor until Mobile World Congress in early February late March.
