Landscape mode on home...

Hate that home screen on razr does not rotate...only when in apps...is there an app to allow home screen rotation?

The Bionic does the same thing. A quick look in the Market, er, Play Store shows apps designed to prevent rotation.

I hated that on my phone too, I ended up downloading adw launcher ex, works great and it rotates. Therd is a tutorial on this site somewhere walks you through what it does (great walk through)
Or you can just look it over yourself you can totally customize you phone with it. Lots of themes in the market too. I Hope this helps some.

Dont want a custom launcher. I like the stock razr just fine...just hate the home screen dont auto rotate....oh well. Thanks anyways

Landscape / Portrait Homescreen

Hey been looking for this also, just found Ultimate Rotation Control by FaMe IT.
It has a free 7 day trial, I'm gonna try it for a few days to see how it affects battery life but it does the job perfectly.
Doesn't need root either.

Think that's one I've tried and while it works, I wish it was a one click on/ off instead of a menu pop up. Auto rotate is not necessary really for what I'm after. A toggle switch would work for what I'm after. I don't need it all the time but when I'm riding a tap to force landscape would rock when I turn my phone mount.

It has a toggle wdget and a single icon widget. The single icon had the pop up menu. The toggle widget has auto, forced auto and portrait.

Kewl! Thanks man. I thought I tried this one but that was another app....works great. Set forced. Then removed the widget. Screen clean. Now if it will hold landscape when I'm leaned over in a turn....oh. it has landscape lock! Sweet.
