Labelert - Gmail LED colors

Oh! Also...I'm noticing now that when I get a new message and it shows up in the notification tray, clicking on it isn't launching gmail or taking me to the message. It simply closes the notification tray. As well, I sent myself a test to see how it handled an "un-labeled" email. I got a new email from Google buzz (labeled correctly for blue notifications). The led flashed blue, but I'm seeing notifications in the tray for that message, the one that I know I read the other day but can't find (that I mentioned later), my test, and another blank notification with the time-stamp.

Any help/clarification is greatly appreciated!

In the menu of the program you can go to preferences. There you can set the default color of all the emails that are not labeled. Thats why you can shut off the gmail notifications...

Also I am looking into having gmail launched when you select the notification, right now it just clears it. Version 3 should have that feature. Which should be available in a week or so.

What do you mean by "Is that the only way it'll work, or can I get the standard-looking notification?" What would you want it to look like? Do you mean a little Icon that shows a number? If so I agree it is missing that and I will get that in with version 3 also.

Thanks for the response! I figured out that messages without labels show with the default notification.

As it's working for me now, it says I have a new green message, then there is a blank spit on the bar and another notification for something else. I'd definitely like an icon there, as well as launching gmail, even if it simply took me to the inbox.

Also, when I click your notification, it's not clearing it from my notifications. It just closes the notification tray.
