kitkat battery drain

Wtf, since kitkat, android os is the #1 battery sucker. Even with battery savor on. Hope they send a fix for this SOON.

Factory reset usually fixes the problem. It did for me.

Try the reset as recommended above and let us know if it worked for you.

Try a battery monitor such as GSam. On my note 3 it identified 1 app Taptu as the problem. My phone was physically warm in my pocket, my battery would be drained in about 4 hours. The APP worked fine on JellyBean. I changed the refresh settings within the APP, it took care of my battery drain issue.

Thanks. I'm going to try the app first. A FDR is last resort.
