Key Ring

I used to have an HTC Droid Eris (so glad I don't have that anymore) and had the Key Ring App. I couldn't use it because I couldn't get bar scanners, such as my local grocery store, to work. Now I have the Motorola DX2 and I was curious if it had any better results. If you did have success with Key Ring using te DX2, did you have to do anything such as dimming the screen ( and how did you do this) to have success everytime. Thx.

I've had no problem with my D1. I think some scanners just don't work so unless you had 5-6 stores where it didn't work that might have been the issue. Depending how long ago it was you last tried they may have even upgraded. You can also ask a checkout clerk how often people use such apps too.

I'll just have to start trying it again. Any tips for using it such darkening the screen, etc.?
