All credit goes to jt1134 @ xda!!!

Neither jt1134, myself or anyone else is responsible if you mess up your phone

Original thread can be found here.

Below please find a kernel compiled from the EC10 Mesmerize source drop. Source code is here: https://github.com/jt1134/linux-2.6-...commits/froyo/

Enhancements:
Voodoo Color - Supercurio - http://project-voodoo.org/color
Voodoo Lagfix - Supercurio - http://project-voodoo.org/lagfix
Voodoo Sound - Supercurio - Voodoo Control app from the market
Backlight Notifications - Neldar
Tiny RCU and lowmemkiller patch
Slightly undervolted
interactive cpu governor
other misc niceties, read the commits

This has only been tested on Adrynalyne's latest superclean ROM. It should work on any TouchWiz based ROM though. AOSP version can be found in my Vanilla Froyo thread.

As my Fascinate is now deactivated, there are obviously some things I cannot personally test, but these kernels have been tested by a few folks successfully.

HUGE thanks to nemesis2all for providing a working defconfig to start with. Made my life MUCH easier.

Flash with cwm, yadda yadda, enjoy

Download newest kernel to sd card.
Move it to the root of the sd card if you choose to.
Boot into recovery - power button then select recovery
Clear cache partition
Go advanced then clear dalvik cache
Go back then install zip file from sd card - select the kernel to install
go to voodoo and select enable lag fix
reboot

Rebooting can take as long as 20 minutes so be patient. You should hear a female robot talking to you.

Congrats you now have a voodoo kernel.

NEVER FLASH A NON-VOODOO KERNEL OVER A VOODOO KERNEL WITHOUT DISABLING THE LAG FIX!!!!!!!!

I know about the back button issue! It'll be fixed soon!

Kernel Download Home button issue

3/27kernel Home button issue fixed

3/27 2 Kernel Color enhancements

4/07 Voodoo

4/07 Non Voodoo

Color enhancement currently only works with 100% brightness and the auto display turned off!
Voodoo sound works with "Voodoo Control" app from the market. It's free, but consider the donation as they work hard to give us all this great stuff!

no you dont data wipe...no you wont lose your theme

so can i just flash the rom now? without losing anything

It's a kernel...... but yes just cache and dalvik wipe then flash then voodoo - enable lag fix them reboot. This is a voodoo kernel. Do not flash and non-voodoo kernel over a voodoo kernel without disabking the lag fix first! Might take 15 to 20 minutes to boot back before patient.

The kernel doesnt auto enable lagfix...in voodoo option after flashing the kernel select enable voodoo lagfix and reboot....a female android will talk to you so be patient and wait for it to boot....might be 2 min, might be 20 min
