Kernal Taking Up 50% of battery!?

I am not sure why my phone's kernal is using up 50% of the battery. While my screen is only taking up about 45%. I am just leaving my phone on my desk without using it for a couple hours and the battery goes down by about 10% which is definitely way too much. This is how the data from the Kernal exported using the GSam Battery Monitor App. Could someone tell me which processes are known to be using up the battery? I was looking for a faulty app that is draining my battery but no apps show more than 2% usage on the GSam battery monitor app so I don't know what the problem is.

I am using the Simplex ROM v1.3 if that makes any difference. I am on ICS. I turned my phone off and on but it didn't work.
