Anyone know how to get you notification light to blink while the screen is on? I remember having an option in other Roms to turn on the pulsing light, but can't seem to find one with 1.1. Any ideas?

That's an option in cyanogen roms and it exists because they are created for the nexus one and ported over to work on the Droid. that function is not native to the Droid, so any leaked based or from source Rom created specifically for the Droid will most likely not have that option.
or in a less winded answer....its not available
