[ROM] [K]IN3TX v1.0 |12/8/11|

So, here are some observations. I posted in another thread about text messaging and messaging and what the diff is between them and also that i get double messages in each app. I also was going to download Duke Nukem to play with since it was free but it said my device was not supported. Frustration set in and I restored to stock and took the OTA update again. Yes, long process but wanted to test it. After back to 'stock' though still rooted, I was able to download Duke Nukem with no problems. I also am not getting 2 text messaging applications nor am I getting double messages. I also DL'ed handcent to try it out also and only get single messages...as expected.

Anyway, just some observations about what happens while running this ROM. I am sure I will flash it back here shortly...but probably not until after the holidays when I will be a bit less SWAMPED with stuff.

open bionicbox download blur add on to sd card. then reboot recovery ( That is an option when you hold the power button down) . Once you are in recovery wipe cache then go back and choose advanced and wipe dalvik cache then go back and choose install from sd card (internal card ) and find your download folder and select the blur addon you downloaded... Install it.
let it finish then choose reboot now. it will reboot slow the first time... DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL MORE THAN ONE THING PER RECOVERY. Then if you wanna add some special thing come back to recovery after you been rebooted and install that theme the same way.

With regard to the launchers, can I take them all off and just use the one that is stock? I saw a Moto Home one and uninstalled all of them after flashing kin3tx....is that OK? Things seem to be running OK....is that my answer?

yes u can. if your not using the one u want to keep u need to make it default first.

It's weird but this rom pooped on me randomly. I rebooted because i wasnt getting any data (it was greyed out on the status bar), but it bootlooped. Luckily i have safestrap so i just went and restored a backup i had and it was fine. I just think its odd that it would bootloop unprovoked. Also, i've just been using ics4bionic alpha10 since then just to avoid it happening in an inconvenient time. I have 3g on ics so its not bad to have as my main for a while.
 
So im kinda confused. I was on liberty and i reveted back to stock so i could get the new ota. Now im on 5.5.893 and i have two questions. One is what is all this stuff i keep hearing about a new ota already. And two is will the kenitx rom work on the 5.5.893 update?

OK, just flashed this lean ass rom and it's great. Is the cardock apps no longer included? Kind of a neat feature. Can somebody advise me? Is there a way to install it from the old shifter rom?

I just wanna say thank you to all the developers for their hard efforts. I have thoroughly enjoyed the roms with all of its development thus far. However I have experienced some minor bugs in the form of data loss which will not recover until the phone is rebooted. It isn't consistent but it does happen from time to time. Otherwise excellent job so far
