so I have the 5.7.893 update... installed this a few minutes ago and so far only problem is with the market telling me to log in. hoping a reboot fixes it this already boots faster and runs better than the 2.5 I was using

Why is eveRy1 down grading to the update then updating again to the new kinetx base?

Had that problem but it fixed it when I rebooted after flashing my Add on

You have to be stock bloated in order to get the OTA

Update: So I got the new OTA, Installed the Kin3tx base, flashed the Pure Ad On, also flashed the Ic3br3ad UI and I love it!! I noticed that the 3D gallery was kept and the music player was also kept! I love it!

So...I've got a slight problem on my hands. I've installed [K]in3tx base, pur3 add-on, and ics tpax, in that order. Downloaded TiBu to start putting everything back and...No backup directory? Yep, little confused as it seems my TiBu folder is completely wiped from my sd card. Guess I need to restore my Purity backup and go from there.

Out of curiosity: would making a backup, flashing to my purity backup, copying my TiBu folder to my computer, then reflashing to the new [K]in3tx backup and dropping the TiBu folder in the external folder work?

Edit: Also, do I have to wipe everything when flashing back to previous states or no? It's been a while.

I would not try the backup, I would use APP extractor to replace what you need, restoring backups is flaky on this phone.

I was on the new OTA and I screwed up this morning trying to multi task Flash a Rom and make breakfast. I hit reboot wrigtht after I wipped data. Anyway I had to do a fastboot recovery which worked good now I am on 5.5.886 again. I ckd before I came back and it said update available I didnt do it. Funny thing is my phone seems to work better than when I was on update. It seemed to lag on update. DT said the update is same kernel and radio as all the leaks. I guess Ill stay here for awhile and see what happens. As far as Im concerned the the big OTA was a bust out.

Great knowledge for the future. Unfortunately, I ended up reverting and getting stuck in a bootloop. Had to go back to stock with R3L3AS3D. Good news is I got the OTA and forever root now. Oddly enough, after doing all that and reflashing [K]IN3TX, my TiBu directory showed back up. Not sure what happened the first time I flashed, but apparently my Internal SD wasn't showing up for some reason.

As far as looks they look the same as shifter but the dock looks stock. I actually like it....

I'm coming from Purity and have a number of different e-mail accounts. I cannot use the Moto Blur e-mail for a couple of reasons. I cannot setup 1 of my corporate exchange accounts and also, I cannot specify different sounds for the different accounts. Kin3tx is still using the moto blur e-mail account even with the pur3 system add on. Is there any way to eliminate the moto e-mail and use the e-mail from purity? On purity, there was an option for Corporate and Coporate Sync. The corporate was stock and the corporate sync was the motorola.

Will not let me setup a motoblur account when I select reg a account since I do not have a blur account which is a deal breaker for me.
