just talked to vzw about issues with 2.2

Having major issues with 2.2 and my d1. Lost icons calender says its yesterday but notification bar says it's today. Plugged it in last night screen turned black and some boot screen came up saying boot ok USB ok batt ok. Then got stuck on the big M , pulled battery. Did hard reset back to factory settings stuck on M pulled battery again finally got d1 back up and running but my live wallpapers stuck???????? Spent 40 minutes on hold/talking to tech support. They said d1 out of stock and will have to call me on Monday and let me know they have more in............. d2 or DX maybe???????dancedroid

They are not out of stock. They will just ship one from a different warehouse location. His warehouse location may be out of stock, but that is why they are going to call you on Monday so they can arrange shipment from another location. I may be wrong, but I am willing to bet that I'm not.

i know asurion would give you an incredible if droid were out of stock but lately ive been seeing a trend of them saying they are out of stock then suddenly they are in stock with no warning. I bet youll be able to get yourself another droid without worry.

Try something first. If you have a spare micro sd card around, try replacing the memory card in the phone with the spare one.

I had all kinds of problems with froyo that I never had while on 2.1 (freezing, unresponsive screens, FCs, etc.). It turned out to be something with my memory card. After formatting my 16gb card, the phone has been problem free with great battery life.

If you don't have a spare memory card to use, just take the memory card out of the phone and see if your problems go away.

Did the SD card removal. Still no improvement it seems like 2.2 dropped a wrench into my phone! I'm not rooted and I don't have a bunch of apps??????
