Just rooted my d2g

I hate this phone after witnessing the Droid 3 and the fact we are probably never going to get gingerbread so I rooted to install a custom rom. Is there any available? I see CM7 but that looks extremely complicated to install when I have rom manager that says I can download Roms right from the program...

CM7 is probably the best ROM out there. Its pretty easy to install.

Do I have to do the whole android sdk business or can I just install it from rom manager.

I would download the latest nightly that rev putout and then use droid 2 bootstrapper to get into clockwork management and wipe data and install the zip there along with the Google apps.
