Just Received Droid X..what to do first?

I swear I read this thread on here before, but I can't seem to find it even with the search bar. I'm trying to be patient and let it charge before I start playing with it. Any advice? This is my first smartphone. Thanks

im a few miles north in Marion...just curious where your phone shipped from, mine is coming from Memphis and my tracking site is saying delays due to severe thunderstorms now!:icon_evil:

Once you turn it on. Hit the menu button (bottom left), select settings, scroll down to about phone, click on system updates.

No I did not have it shipped. I got it at a cell store in clearwater.

I believe ya. I called almost every store this side of the bay, no dice. I hate having to wait, but at least no mail-in rebate and it was cheaper online. Give and take, I guess.
