Just picked up a Moto Milestone X2

From my research, it looks identical inside and out to the Droid X2. Will the same mods that work for X2 work on my Milestone X2?

I'm a long time iPhone user who can no longer justify the huge phone bill and switched to ntelos unlimited everything for $50. Phone choices are very limited.

X2 ROMs are not compatible but any simple mod, like editing the build prop for example will work fine.
