Just ordered Bionic now wondering about the SD Card.

So I have the OG Droid. To get the pictures and music off my SD card will I have to pay Verizon $20, can I switch SD cards or will there be an open port of an extra SD card. That would be awesome if it had an extra port, 48 gb of space!!! Any help on this would be great! Thank you!!! dancedroid

I think what you can do is plug both phones into your computer and just transfer the folders from one phone to the next

Or move one sdcard to the other phone. They are both 16GB cards.

Several ways to do this yourself:

1. Plug OG Droid into PC & transfer all files on the card into a folder, then connect Bionic the same way & copy/paste everything to that card.

2. Connect both phones to PC, drag & drop all files from OG Droid card to the Bionic's.

3. Like mentioned above, just swap out cards, they are both 16gb.

OK I am in the same boat except I want to get the pictures off my phone to the SD card and then over to the new SD card. How would I do that?

they should be on your SD card, look in the DCIM folder.

Plug OG into computer. Create folder on desktop "SD Card Backup". Unplug OG, plug in Bionic. Copy and paste the Camera folder from that which you just created into the camera folder on the Bionic. Now you have it on your new phone, and a backup in case anything goes sour.

Anyone know if the SD card in the Bionic is faster then class 2 like in the OG Driod? I would think it's probably faster
