Just got a Note 3, how do I auto transfer from the S3 I've had for years?

I swapped the sim card and my SD card over and that seems to take care of activating the phone itself. I tried using the Samsung Galaxy to Galaxy app to transfer some of the stuff I want but that didn't do it. Most of my stuff like contacts and calendars is all sync'd with google so it's easy. What I want to transfer is the wifi passwords, ring tones and old versions of apps that I don't want to update to the latest version. I think the google backup and restore can help me here but I don't know where to tell it to restore what is backed up for my S3 to my Note3. Google seems to think these are 2 different phones with different backup sets. Any thoughts?

Try Samsung kies (from there Web site) back up stuff on that then restore on the note 3. It backs up apps and what not worth a shot right, wifi stuff I'm not sure that you may just have to do manually.
