just got a motorola milestone droid

hey everybody i just got me a brand new milestone droid. i had to get an unlocked one since i dont live in the states and we dont have a verizon network here on guam so yeah.

anyways i was wondering are there any differences with the milestone and the droid itself?

and is rooting the droid the same as the milestone?

I have read that the Milestone is not as customizable as the Droid because Motorola locked certain functions, but I'm not very familiar with the phone. There are plenty of people here customizing their Milestone outside of the States. I bet you will find more answers if you get this thread moved to the Milestone section of this forum.
