Jelly vs Hard Rubberized Case

I searched the site first and did't find a post that really answered this.

The phone in question is the Samsung Galaxy S, Fascinate to be precise.

Which offers the best protection against drops?

Any other pros or cons to either?

I'm considering this Silicone soft case:
Red Silicone Case+Film+Charger for Samsung Fascinate - eBay (item 200515493196 end time Oct-03-10 02:20:13 PDT)

Or this Hard Rubberized case:
New Red Hard Case+LCD+Car Charger For Samsung Seek M350 - eBay (item 120615567097 end time Sep-29-10 14:35:29 PDT)

Thanks in advance!

None of the above. I wouldn't get the cheap those cheap stuffs for nice phone. Besides, my friend bought me the same silicone case for me online and I threw it away and got the legit one at best buy. Silicone comes off very easy and made out of cheap rubber. If you accidently drop your phone, both of those hard and silicone covers won't secure your phone 'cause they will come off 100%. I bought the snap on rubberized hard case at best buy store for $29.99. It's the best one on the market i'd seen so far.
Secondly, I wouldn't even bother using car charger for fascinate. It can reduce your phone battery life and cause overheating. Just buy a second battery and charge your phone at home.
