I just tried sleep function on my ICS phone, works great....seems like a good way to keep people from bothering you when you don't want to be contacted!!!

Lol Sleep mode is really not needed you want to save battery or if you dont have service just hit airplane mode same **** just turns off all your connections and saves a ton of battery

Gah... so they did get rid of it. :frown:

btw, I found this on Motorola's Facebook page.

Motorola

On Dec. 24, some DROID RAZR & DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola owners may have received a notification to upgrade their phones to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). We expect the full Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade to take place for all DROID RAZR & DROID RAZR MAXX owners in Q1 of 2013.

I guess that could be their "official statement"... :p

I asked them a question regarding if there will be any problems updating to the full Jelly Bean when it's released if I'm already on this leaked version.

Question: I updated to the Jelly Bean that got pushed to Maxx users on the 24th. So, when the "official" release comes out in Q1 of 2013, will I be able to update again smoothly with no issues? I don't want this update to cause any problems on the future update...

I tried to make the question as simple as possible.

Here is their reply

Hi Eric: We always strive to provide the latest improvements and enhancements as they become available. We expect the full Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade to take place for all DROID RAZR & DROID RAZR MAXX owners in Q1 of 2013.

Lulz. Okay.

If I use the favorite contacts widget, non of my contacts have their pictures anymore. But when I go under my directory, they do. Also, some verizon processes have failed to load upon start up. Not sure which ones, just background ones I suppose. One good thing though, although it is slower I initially upon start up, over all it does run faster than ICS. And I love Google Now which I been using on my tablet for a while.

The process moto.vzn.vmm crashes on mine. Someone posted that it was a back up assistant process which is probably why it was not detrimental to my phone.

I also found that my computer was the problem with the drives not being seen, not the phone. They are all there and everything is on them when I use my granddaughter's computer...mine could not even find the device tonight! New drivers from Moto did nothing to change the outcome of no device found. But hers works so I know the stuff is there! Made me feel a lot better for sure!
