Will the Droid Razr Maxx get the 4.2 Jelly Bean update?

I believe 4.2 is Key Lime Pie, not a Jelly Bean update. I wouldn't hold out hope for the update, the razr maxx is near end of life in cell phone years. There is talk of a new razr x that will be available soon and might serve as an upgrade path for razr maxx owners. Be patient :biggrin:

4.2.2 is jelly bean, as it's on my nexus 7. Key lime pie should be 4.3.?

Anything 4.1+ is JB. KLP will be 5.0.

To the OP. It isn't completely out of the question but I seriously doubt it. The RAZR has already received two android updates and that's a lot for the phone. With Google running things though, you can hope.

4.2.x is actually coming to the RAZR MAXX. A Motorola rep told me it's being soak tested.

Lol there is no way 4.2 is being soak tested. They just released 4.1.2...

There are plenty of roms that give you 4.2 features. I use CM10.1
