iTunes vs Android Store - percentage of useful apps?

AT&T and Apple brag that they have over 100,000 apps while Android only has 10,000. But, I'm curious, has anyone done any type of comparison to see what the percentage of "useful" apps, not just filler, is in each store? I know this is probably somewhat difficult because what's useful to you may not be useful to me. But...

I saw a list of a friend's iTunes store apps he had collected. There were a LOT of what I'd call pure junk - apps to make fart sounds, etc. If you search for "fart" in both stores, what is the ratio of hits to total apps in the store for iTunes vs. Android?

I'm sure Android store has it's share of filler and junk, but I'm willing to bet that overall, the percentage of filler apps in the Android store is much less than the Apple store.

Any comments on this theory?

I think what android really needs to prove its openness is some solid porn apps. If Apple tried to compete they would make fart porn apps.

Try Porn Hub Mobile

Search for it on just a regular google browser, it says it works for iphone but when i checked it also works on my computer. It works for phones because of the way it is formatted.

I dont think that it gives your phone or computer virus' either.

hoping that was helpfull.
