Issue with Email Fetching Schedule

Hello everyone,
I've encountered a problem on my Motorola Droid 3 relating to fetching emails. I use the default email client on Droid 3 and have set up a Hotmail account and Gmail account. I set the "Push" schedule to Manual but I still receive emails almost immediately after the email arrives in my computer's inbox. Any thoughts on why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Check under settings accounts for each to see that it isn't set to sync there too.
