Issue with dowloading zipped files

I never had a problem downloading from Mediafire, etc., when I had my Droid 2 but since I got the Bionic I can't get a download going. They all fail.

Can anyone help with this?

Are you using the stock browser? Sometimes, a browser other than stock might help...

I am. I had actually considered downloading another browser but didn't cause I didn't think it was that serious. I'll try it now, thanks.
