Is there an app that tracks the miles I walk or run?

Sportypal, i use it for biking. but it has a ton of settings including walking. and its free in the market. its so good its worth paying for

both apps pretty good. sportypal just as accurate. i guess it comes down to UI preference. lot of good "sport tracking" apps out there

Speedometer is the app I use when the wife and I walk, tracks your route, time, distance, the works.

Softrace...it gives you a lot of choices and it is very accurate.

I use my tracks and love it. It even syncs with Google maps.
I use my tracks for not only the accuracy but the saving to My Maps. I don't like how it splits my routes in pieces when long rides are had (motorcycle).
Do the other apps connect with Google maps and track nicely?

Cardiotrainer gets my vote I've tried several. It also has a pedometer that counts your steps using the acceleromitor.

I go for SportyPal, i have it on my phone. I'm recording my cycling trips, i have plan to ride 400 miles before 4th of July
For now I have completed 10 %, Also i have tried many other apps, but this one is the most accurate. That is the first thing on my privileges list.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I found another one Runkeeper. Was an Iphone app that is now available for Android.

My Tracks is for sure my pick. I use it for hiking and long walks just to keep my time and distance, but I also upload all of my hikes to my Google Maps. Amazing feature. I tried it driving in my car a few times too. Once I drove around for about an hour and a half and it tracked me everywhere pretty much perfectly. MyTracks. Good stuff.

Speaking of Google Maps is there a Widget that I can actually see and move to where ever I want to have it? If not how do I start Google Maps?

Sorry, what exactly do you mean by this? Don't understand.
