Is there a way to make my browser not do this?

I am currently running dolphin on my Droid.

Prior to this I had a Curve with Opera mini. On Opera I could hit the back button without it actually refreshing the prior page. This would make surfing forums fairly quick.

On the droid, it seems that whenever I hit the back button it wants to refresh the page contents, which just takes extra time that isn't needed.

Can I disable this somehow, or is there a different browser that does not do this?
