Browser - Default background color

I have a web page that I run nearly non-stop on my phone. I have used the stock browser, and Dolphin (mini and HD), SkyFire, and Opera (Mini and Mobile). They ALL do this one annoying thing -- when a page auto-refreshes, it displays a blank white page during the reload. I want it to display a black page by default. At night, this white page is like a flashlight!

I am the author of the web page, and resolved the issue on desktops by setting the page background color to black before doing anything else, but all Android browsers render the area as white during the load.

Does anyone know how to get to a setting that will force the browser to default to a different color for pages that haven't loaded yet?
