Is there a way to enable punctuation autocorrect without spelling autocorrect?

On my OG Droid if I typed "im" it would autocorrect to "I'm" automatically. I can't seem to replicate that on the D4 unless I enable "Auto replace" from Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Built-in keyboard, which also enables spelling/predictive autocorrect (which I don't want.)

Anyone know a solution? Thanks

I just tried it with and without "Auto Replace" and it works either way. I am using Swiftkey if that makes a difference.
Hmm, that's strange. I'm guessing there's some other setting I need to change. I doubt Swiftkey would make any difference since it's the same for me with either the on-screen or physical keyboard.
