Is there a way to disable the BT headphone "Play" button?

I like to keep my BT headset in my cargo pocket, but this causes the music player to start multiple times per day. Is there a way I can configure the player to not start on a button press of the headphone?

I could, but I want it on to take calls with.

There is no app to stop this that I know of, but one thing you can do is, change your settings for your headset to only snyc in headset mode and not audio temporarily. Go to Settings, then Wireless and Networks, then Bluetooth Settings. Under Bluetooth Devices you will see your headset listed. Long press on it and a sub menu will come up. Hit Options and uncheck media. This way the audio portion will not be synched and it will not try to play your media.
