I have the lg ally and I want a new unlock screen. I tried lockbot and it sucks its unreliable and laggy. All I really want is to change the pic for my lockscreen background from what my regular wallpaper is. And I want a lockcode also. Anyone know of any? I am willing to pay 3 or 4 bucks also. Thanks

Widgetlocker is the best lockscreen replacement. A little difficult to setup properly though.

Widgetlocker IMO is the best lockscreen replacement. You can try both of them and see which one you like and which one meets your needs

Not by the new market rules, its 15 minutes

Since my Archos does not have a lockscreen, I ended up installing widgetlocker. It works good IMHO.

For some odd reason I missed having a lockscreen.

Yeah it blows. Now you don't really get a chance to try the app out before you decide if you want to keep it or not.

is there an app that serves as a complete fone lockdown? ie, when set and locked no one can operate the phone buttons or gain access upon battery pull/restart

yea, on the Droid2global try loading a custom ROM without doing it right.
Now YOU can't even use it!
