Is the battery life for the Droid 2 really that bad?

I ordered the extended battery as well with my Droid 2. The phone is a great phone, to good to worry about the battery which will not be good in any smart phone.

Sid kelly: you are saying after 11 hours your at 80%?

You must not use your phone at all because I'm at 80% after 3 hours of just texting meaning I turn the screen on for 20 seconds then back off
