Is Google Maps acting weird for you?

When I tell my Google Maps to navigate somewhere it shows me a top down view that looks weird. This just started happening and I don't think it's one of the settings. It used to show me behind the arrow and show me what was coming up but now the map doesn't rotate and it's really confusing.

One of the icons on the upper left switches modes for the map. the other mode is the one you expect to see.

The Fix:

Same problem here. The Fix:

Clear the cashe in settings->applications->google maps

Also clear the data in the same place.

Then navigate somewhere. It works again, with perspective.

Do what fr33dom said. Theres a compass icon in the upper left hand corner that toggles between perspective and absolute north (i dunno what its called). Click it.

This doesent really have anything to do with the Droid 3 itself; this is something that google changed in the latest maps update.
