Is 3G an option on razr?

In case I go to an area with no 4G...does razr toggle to 3G? Cain set it on 3G to save battery?

Settings/Wireless and networks/Mobile Networks/Network Mode. Select CDMA only.

It does toggle to 3G on its own. But you can set it to always be 3G too with what I posted above.
