Over the years that many of us have been gaming, one of the most overlooked aspects of the experience is the desk. It's easy to ignore it once we find a desk that is even remotely comfortable, but that doesn't mean there can't be a better solution. Enter "Paradise Desk." This is a new Kickstarter (crowd-funding) project we found intriguing and worth sharing. Whether you are a PC or a console gamer, or you game on both, some of us use a desk for gaming. Obviously, most console gamers will likely have their setup in the living room, so a desk is moot for them, but there are still a few out there who use a desk instead. The "Paradise Desk" could be the perfect solution for any of these needs.

The folks at "Paradise Desk" aim to offer a desk that is the best of all possible worlds. It offers an attractive modern industrial design aesthetic, and melds it with the ability to utilize space more efficiently and cover up those annoying cables strewn about. Here's a quote from the developer with a quick description of their concept,

The Paradise desk is the first desk designed completely for computer enthusiasts and gamers who want a premium desk. The concept stems from the idea that a desk should acts like an extension of your computer and all computer devices, including the computer & monitor, directly plug into the desk. This concept makes it easier to plug in and maneuver devices without awkwardly bending over or reaching behind your computer, as such with current desks. It also allows you to avoid the tangled wire mess beneath the desk, by plugging in the computer and its devices directly into the desk.

In the video above you get a good look at the prototype they are planning to mass-produce. What do you guys think? Could this be the gamer's ultimate desk?
