Internet browser will not rotate to landscape view most of the time

I was embarrassed yesterday because I was showing off my Droid to a coworker and I was showing him my internet browser and I was trying to show him how it would auto rotate, but it would not do it at all. No matter how many times I tried, it just would not rotate! A few minutes ago I tried it again and nothing happened! I am so sick and tired of this phone being so buggy!

it only rotates one way (turn the phone counter clockwise) and it doesn't do it on home screens only in apps that support it, browser should. is it the stock browser or a download?

Sometimes the stock browser doesn't rotate for me either.

I force it to landscape by opening the physical keyboard, then close it.

Once the physical keyboard is closed, it switches to portrait briefly, but then returns to landscape.
